Welcome to Gutter Maintenance Tech Ltd ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website www.gmtltd.org and the provision of our gutter maintenance and exterior cleaning services across Bromley, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and South East London.

By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. General Service Terms

All work is carried out by our trained in-house staff, not subcontractors.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Specialist materials (e.g., heritage cast iron guttering) may require a deposit before work begins.
We reserve the right to decline or withdraw services if customer behaviour is abusive, threatening, or repeatedly disruptive to our schedule.
We also reserve the right to refuse work at our discretion (e.g., unsafe site conditions, structural risks, unreasonable customer demands).

3. Guarantees

We offer the following guarantees on our services:

Gutter Clearing

6-month no blockage guarantee (subject to no structural issues with gutters/downpipes).
Before & after photos available upon request.
If gutters are beyond repair or structurally unsafe, we will notify you before carrying out work.

Gutter Repairs

2-year guarantee on workmanship.
Excludes damage caused by lack of ongoing maintenance, improperly installed gutters, adverse weather events, or interference by third parties.
If gutters are beyond repair, we will inform you before proceeding.

Fascia, Soffit & Gutter Replacements

5-year guarantee on materials and installation.
Guarantee is void if the installation has been altered by another company, poorly maintained, or damaged by external factors (e.g., storm damage).

Cast Iron Gutter Repairs

2-year guarantee on repairs.
Excludes damage caused by neglect, corrosion due to lack of painting/maintenance, weather damage, or interference by third parties.

Cast Iron Restoration & Replacements

5-year guarantee, provided gutters are properly maintained.
Guarantee excludes: Neglect or failure to maintain (e.g., not repainting when required), interference by third parties, natural disasters or extreme weather events (e.g., storms, floods, falling trees).

Commercial Plygene Gutter Liners

25-year manufacturer guarantee.
Guarantee is valid only if annual inspections and maintenance are carried out by Gutter Maintenance Tech Ltd.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
Maintenance of gutters (e.g., regular clearing, repainting of cast iron, etc.) is the customer's responsibility unless contracted with us.
Any guarantee will be void if third parties alter, damage, or interfere with our work.

5. Cancellations & Scheduling

We understand that schedules may change, but multiple cancellations or constant rescheduling may result in us refusing further service.
If a customer cancels work after materials have been ordered, they will be liable for the cost of those materials.

6. Behaviour Policy

Abusive or disrespectful behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated.
Our team has the right to leave site immediately in such circumstances.

7. Retention of Title (Ownership of Materials)

All materials supplied and installed by us remain the property of Gutter Maintenance Tech Ltd until paid for in full.
We reserve the right to remove unpaid materials where legally permissible.

8. Payments & Late Fees

Invoices are due within 30 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment is not received within this period, we reserve the right to:

Charge statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (currently 8% above the Bank of England base rate).
Recover reasonable debt recovery costs and legal fees.
Suspend guarantees until payment is cleared.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for damage caused by existing structural defects, poor roof/gutter condition, extreme weather events, or lack of maintenance.
We are not responsible for consequential loss (e.g., water ingress damage inside property) unless caused by proven negligence on our part.

10. Website Terms of Use

All website content, logos, images, and text are the property of Gutter Maintenance Tech Ltd.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written permission.
We are not responsible for third-party links or external sites linked from our website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
